"Housing" warns against fake advertisements for selling lands and units in the northwestern coast

The Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority, has warned against some companies making false advertisements for the sale of lands and units in the North West Coast region.

Maat Al-Umraniya through its recent announcement, which is the fourth in this regard, in particular, extending the period for receiving reconciliation requests, as it is the only authority with jurisdiction over this area, noting that it has recently been noticed that some companies have announced in newspapers the sale of units and lands in the northwestern coast, and out of concern From the authority over the interests of citizens and protecting them from falling into legal problems or illegal transactions, it declares that it is the only authority with jurisdiction over all lands located on the northwestern coast, in accordance with Republican Decree No. 361 of 2020, to reallocate plots of land to the northwestern coast, Considering the area as a new urban community.

The authority added: Accordingly, any transaction on these lands can only be done through the New Urban Communities Authority.

And it warned against dealing with any individual, association or other entity on the lands in the region, without referring to its affiliated agencies in the northern coast, and that any transaction carried out in violation of that is absolutely null and void and is not relied upon by the authority, while preserving the authority's right to take all legal measures in this regard. .

Deadline for receiving negotiating requests

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Housing, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority and the North West Coast Development Authority, decided to give a deadline to receive negotiation requests from (companies - associations - entities - etc...) on the lands of the northwest coast with a total of approximately 707,000 acres, as of 31 -8-2022

In the interest of citizens and in light of the issuance of Republican Resolution No. 361 of 2020

The Communities Authority announced that the decision came out of its concern for the interests of citizens and in light of the issuance of Republican Decree No. 361 of 2020, to reallocate the plots of land shown towards the northwest coast, whose ownership has been assigned to the Authority for use in establishing new urban communities, in addition to the previous announcements issued in this regard. And to the records of inventory and negotiation concluded with some entities on the northwestern coast and in response to requests submitted by gentlemen who have title or allotment deed on the plots of land located within the limits of the aforementioned republican decision and who were unable to apply in accordance with the previous announcements.
