While you are going to the resort.. Here are 8 important tips that you should not neglect

Many people go to the coastal areas for a special holiday by the sea, but with the severe heat waves that Egypt is exposed to, some may experience skin burns due to high temperatures, salt water or a pool that contains a large percentage of chlorine, or sunstrokes and colds.

In the following lines, Al-Gomhoria provides the most prominent guidelines for the proper handling of heat waves in summer vacations, according to the CNN Arabic website, and Dr. Ibrahim Atta, head of the Central Department of Analyzes and Forecasts at the Meteorological Authority:

1- Avoid direct exposure to the scorching sun from 11 pm to 4 pm so that the sun is completely perpendicular to you, especially in the coastal areas of the Red Sea such as Hurghada, El Gouna, Marsa Alam, Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Ras Shaitan.

2- It is preferable to wear light clothes on the sea because it reduces your feeling of heat, unlike black clothes.

3- Change the sunscreen every two hours, especially some of your exposure to water, as it is removed every time when swimming in sea water or the pool, to avoid skin burns.

4- Try to choose the location of your coastal destination after following the climatic weather for it, and the most appropriate in the summer months

5- Try to stay away from places that have air conditioners, especially after you finish swimming, to avoid catching a cold.

6- Make sure that there are controversial moisturizers in your travel bag, and natural masks that protect your skin and body from the sun’s rays at night.

7- If you forget to bring sunscreen, you can use rose water as a scented alternative to sun protection, but it changes from 10 to 15 minutes.

8- More than consuming fresh drinks such as orange and lemon that help you relax and enjoy the summer, and completely stay away from stimulants such as coffee, nescafe and tea.
